According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration`s (IRICA) monthly report which has been released recently, in the first 7 month of this year(Iranian calendar), Iran export value was 19.25 billion Dollar and Import value in the same period of time was 23.35 billion Dollar.

During September 23 to October 22, Iran export value was 2.80 billion dollar, comparing this value with last month, Irans export has been increased 2 percent. China, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, India and Afghanistan ranks on top of the table in export market destination, which was 73 percent of total export value. This means Irans export partners hasn`t changed dramatically. Also, the statistics on export show that most traded items were oil gas, metals, iron ore, propane, Polyethylene and ferrous products.

By investigating the combination of the most valuable goods which has been exported during the mentioned period, it is obvious that there is no significant change in the main items. Asalouyeh port, Mah shahr port and Imam Khomayni port were the main locations in exporting goods. Iran export`s value on September 23 to October 22 comparing to other months` report for this year(Iranian calendar) was one of the best reports this year.

Iran imports value according to the customs report were 3.15 billion dollar, which means 12 percent decrease comparing to last month (from September 23 to October 22). China, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Turkey and India were the main import partners and count for 66 percent of import value. In addition, Brazil was replaced by India in terms of trading value during the last month.

Shahid Rajaee port, Imam Khomayni port and Bandar Lengeh port were the main areas of imports. Corn based animal food, soya bean, pharmaceutical supplement, steel products and rice were the most traded items in the mentioned period. This fact shows that there is no significant change in combination of items which have been imported.

China has played an important role as Irans top trading partner. Irans top exports to China included iron ore, methanol, propane, polyethylene, styrene, butane, ethylene-glycol, paraxylene, chrome stone, marble, oil and mineral seals, [and] purified cupper, and Iran mainly imported railroad and subway locomotives parts, oil and gas pipelines, LCD and LED modules, car parts, polystyrene, banana and cars, from China according to the report.
